THE REQUIREMENT OF WARRANTY

Should your LG Product fail due to defect in material or workmanship under normal home use during the warranty period set forth below, LGE Philippines will, at its option, repair or replace the Product upon receipt of Proof of Original Retail Purchase. This warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the product and applies only to a Product distributed in the Philippines by LGE Philippines or an authorized Philippine distributor thereof. The warranty only applies to Products located and used within Philippine territory.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Damage during transportation and handling by a third party from pick up to delivery;
  • Installation or repair of the products by a non-LG Authorized Service Center.
  • Damage or Failure of product to perform during power failures and interruptions or inadequate electrical service, or caused by incorrect electrical current or voltage.
  • Damage caused by leaky or broken water pipes, plumbing codes, frozen water pipes, restricted drain lines, any water leakage where the unit was not properly installed, inadequate or interrupted water supply or inadequate supply of air.
  • Damage resulting from operating the product in a corrosive atmosphere or contrary to the instructions outlined in the product owner's manual.
  • Damage to the product caused by accidents, pest and vermin, lightning, wind, fire, floods or acts of God.
  • Defects or damage from abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, unauthorized connections, unauthorized repair, misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, or other act which are not the fault of LG, including damage caused by shipping, blown fuses, spills of food and liquids, improper repair includes use of parts not approved or specified by LG.
  • Damage or failure caused by unauthorized modification or alteration, or use of components, cleaning products or accessories that are not approved by LG, or if used for other than the intended purpose such as but not limited to; used for commercial or industrial purposes in areas like hotels, laundromats, schools, care homes, healthcare centers, spa, and the like.
  • Damage or missing items to any display, open box, discontinued, or refurbished product.
  • Tampering or removal of serial number.
  • Damaged accessories like remote control, antenna, glass tray, plastic shelves, microphone, promo disc, etc.
  • Maintenance, repair or replacement of parts or consumables due to normal wear and tear.
  • LG does not warrant that the products are merchantable or fit for the particular purpose for which they were bought, except those purposes expressly stated in the owner’s manual.
  • LG does not warrant that the product’s features and functions are based on the expectation of the customer, except those features and functions as stated in the owner’s manual.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • The warranty will not apply if damaged, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, Fire, mis-adjustment of customer controls, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges, acts of God, voltage supply problems, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by any insects, vermin or foreign object in the product.
  • Tampering or removal of serial number.
  • Unit has been installed or serviced by anyone other than the duly authorized service center/installer.
  • Damage accessories like remote control, air filter, front panel, face cover.( LG reserves the right to inspect all damaged accessories and approve or reject warranty based on result such.)
  • This warranty applies only to the product in its original installation location and is voided if the product is reinstalled elsewhere or within the same premises by unauthorized installer or service venter of LGEPH.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS

LG offers you a limited warranty that the enclosed subscriber unit and its enclosed accessories will be free from defects in material and workman-ship, according to the following terms and conditions:
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the product is used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines detailed in the instruction manual, supplied with the product failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.
  • The limited warranty for the product is as stated in the Warranty Period table based on the purchase date as indicated in the presented valid proof of purchase.
  • The limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end user.
  • This warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the product during the warranty period as long as it is in the Philippine Territory.
  • The external housing and cosmetic parts shall be free of defects at the time of shipment and, therefore, shall not be covered under these limited warranty terms.
  • Upon request from LG, the consumer must provide information to reasonably prove the date of purchase.
  • The customer shall bear the cost of shipping the product to the Customer Service.

Replacement units and repair parts may be new or factory-remanufactured and are warranted for the remaining portion of the original Product’s warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer. Please retain dealer’s dated bill of sale or delivery ticket as evidence of the Date of Purchase for proof of warranty (you may be required to submit a copy to LGE or to an LGE service representative.)

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Service trips to deliver, pick up, install, or repair the product; instruct the customer on operation of the product; repair or replace fuses or correction of unauthorized repairs/installation.
  • Failure of product to perform during power failures and interruptions or inadequate electrical service.
  • Damage resulting from operating the product in a corrosive atmosphere or contrary to the instructions outlined in the product owner’s manual.
  • Damage to the product caused by accidents, pests and vermin, lightning, wind, fore, floods, or acts of God.
  • Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, contamination, virus infection, improper or inadequate maintenance or calibration or other external; by software, interfacing, parts or supplies not supplied by LG; improper site preparation or maintenance or by modification or service by other the LG or an LG Authorize Service Center provider.
  • Damage ( including cosmetic damage ) or failure, due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance or storage, or to acts of God or other causes beyond LG’s control. ( Causes beyond LG’s control include but are not limited to lightning strike, power surges, power outages and water damage. )
  • Damage or failure caused by incorrect electrical current, voltage, or plumbing codes, commercial or industrial use, or use of accessories, components, or consumable cleaning products that are not approved by LG.
  • Damage caused by transportation and handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other damage to the finish of your product, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported within one(1) week of deliver. ( Call: (02)7902-5545 )
  • Damage or missing items to any display, open box, discounted, or refurbished product.
  • Product damage due to improper customer installation or installation inconsistent with the guide in owner’s manual and other LG’s instruction ( eg.product installed in a place with excessive dust, abundant oil mist, chemical substances are used, operating in very high or low temperature, high humidity. )
  • Product issues due to deficient signal reception or set up adjustments.
  • Product issues caused by use of parts, peripherals or software not recommended by LG.
  • Product issues due to repair or replacement of warranted parts by other than LG authorized service center.
  • Product where the original factory serial numbers have been removed defaced or changed any way.
  • Damage or missing components to any display, open box, discounted, or refurbished product.
  • Damage caused by computer or internet viruses, bugs, worms or Trojan Horses.
  • Image Sticking or Image Retention cased by displaying fixed image or same pattern for a long time. Refer to "Recommendation of operation time & condition" for optimized operation.
  • The lamp life time of display panel is determined as the time which luminance of the lamp is 50% compared to that of initial value.
  • Any loss, damage or alteration to third party software, including the operating system whether pre-loaded or installed subsequently.

THE REQUIREMENT OF WARRANTY

Should any functional part in your LG Commercial Washing Machine or LG Commercial Dryer ("Product") fail due to a defect in material or workmanship under normal use during warranty period set forth below, LG Electronics Inc. ("LG") will, at its option, either repair or provide a replacement part. This limited warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the Product ("Customer" or "You") and applies only when purchased and used within the country. Proof of original purchase is required to obtain repair or a replacement part under this limited warranty.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Service trips to deliver, pick up, installation, educate how to operate, replace fuses, correct wiring, or correction of unauthorized repairs.
  • Damage or failure of the Product to perform during power failure and interruptions or inadequate electrical service.
  • Damage or failure caused by leaky or broken water pipes, frozen water pipes, restricted drain lines, inadequate or interrupted water supply or inadequate supply of air.
  • Damage or failure resulting from running the Product in a corrosive atmosphere or contrary to the instructions outlined in the Product owner's manual.
  • Damage to or failure of the Product caused by accidents, pest and vermin, lightning, wind, fire, floods, or acts of God.
  • Damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, repair, maintenance, or foreign objects placed in or connected to the Product. Improper repair to include use of parts li not approved or specified by LG.
  • Damage or failure caused by unauthorized modification, accessories, alteration, or if it is used for other than intended purpose.
  • Damage or failure caused by incorrect electrical current, voltage, plumbing codes, components or consumable cleaning products that are not approved by LG.
  • Damage or failure caused by transportation and handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other damage to the finish of your Product, unless such damage results from defects in li materials or workmanship and is reported within one (1) week of delivery.
  • Damage to or failure of any display, open box, discounted, or refurbished Products.
  • Product with original serial numbers that has been removed, altered or cannot be readily determined.
  • Increases in utility costs and additional utility expenses.
  • Replacement of light bulbs or any consumable parts.
  • Any accessories and software not approved or specified by LG including, but not limited to, coin drop mere, coin side mechanism, coin vault and locks, debit card module and cards, debit card system accessories.
